REQUIREMENTS TO HOST

Note: These requirements must be read by all involved in arranging the details of a program.

Depending on the occasion these can possibly be modified, contact for any specific questions.

1) SPACE

A program requires a flat, unobstructed dance space. We must have a minimum of 20 x 20 feet. (24 x 24 is best if possible.)

Space must be cleared of anything obstructing audience view, such as podiums.

An elevated stage space is best for the audience to view the presentation, but we will work with what you have.

2) ACCESS

We must have access to the program area to rehearse at least an hour before the presentation.

3) TECHNICIAN

We will need an audio technician, available at least one hour before the program to operate the music.

The sound system needs to have the ability to play CDs.

4) DRESSING ROOM & WARM UP

We require a dressing room near the stage to be available at least one and a half hours before program and for a half hour after the program.

Dancers cannot sit in the congregation before a performance as they must warm up their muscles before dancing. Sitting shuts that process down.

5) PUBLIC RELATIONS

We ask that an insert announcing our presentation be placed in your program.


6) HONORARIUM

We currently are not asking for an up front fee to come and present to our local Humboldt County congregations.

However, we ask that we can have a table set up with a donation box and /or an honorarium be taken for our company.

Costumes, dance shoes and travel are continuing expenses. For out of area events please contact the director as to potential fees.
